Summer Camp Frequently Asked Questions
General FAQs
Do I drop-off/pick-up my child at the same location every day?
KIDS for the BAY Summer Camp is mainly based in Tilden Park at Orchard Picnic Area. The locations within each week of camp vary and are specific to each weekly theme, therefore locations may change daily. The pick-up location will always be the same as the drop-off location for that day of camp. Please visit our Sessions, Themes & Locations webpage and click on your session (ex: Week Six, Zoology). Find the table that lists each drop-off and pick-up location by date. You may click on each location to view a Google Maps route that will take you directly to the correct location.
Where do I view the drop-off and pick-up locations for each week of camp?
The drop-off and pick-up locations for each week and day of camp are listed on each session webpage. Please visit our Sessions, Themes & Locations webpage and click on your session.
Is there a way to stay up to date with what my camper is doing each day?
Yes! Follow @kidsforthebay on Instagram and Facebook to stay up-to-date with the activities and adventures your camper enjoys each day, and view daily and weekly photos and highlights from Summer Camp! Please also subscribe to our E-Newsletter for more highlights and stories from Summer Camp and announcements from KIDS for the BAY.
What if I need to pick up my camper early?
Please notify our staff of any schedule restrictions or early pickup needs in advance by emailing camp@kidsforthebay.org. If you have an unexpected early pickup need, please contact us in advance before coming to pick up your camper. Our Summer Camp groups may leave the drop-off/pick-up area to embark on nature hikes or participate in other activities, so it’s best to get in touch with us in order to arrange a meeting place and time.
