Summer Camp 2024
Let’s Get Outside!
KIDS for the BAY offers Summer Camp sessions for youth age 5-11, as well as middle school Camp Ranger helpers age 12 – 13, and high school Leaders in Training age 14 – 17. We also hire Junior Camp Leaders age 16-17 in paid positions. Look out for more details in our E-Newsletters.
Our Summer Camps take full advantage of the amazing natural spaces in beautiful Tilden Park and beyond! Campers will explore meadows, redwood groves and bay shorelines. They will hike along creeks, discover insects in ponds, watch river otters swimming, birds feeding and turtles sunbathing in lakes. Campers will discover bay and ocean beaches, enjoy tide pooling, animal tracking and many more exciting nature adventures!
Hands-on science investigations, environmental stewardship, nature games and art projects are integrated into each special camp theme.
Team building activities and games help to build a fun-loving, connected and caring Summer Camp community of friends, scientists and environmentalists for every week of camp!
All camp drop-off and pick-up locations are in the Berkeley Area.
All Camps are led by Year-Round KIDS for the BAY Educators who create an engaging, safe, fun, creative learning environment for every camper.
Early bird discounts, multiple-week discounts, sibling discounts and scholarship spaces are available.

- KIDS for the BAY Junior Camp Leaders: age 16 – 17
Camps run Monday through Friday from 9:00am – 3:00pm, with flexible camp morning drop-off from 8:30 – 9:00 am and flexible camp afternoon pick-up from 3:00 – 3:30pm.
A fun and relaxing after-camp care Nature Club program is provided from 3:30 – 5:00 pm daily.
